Selling Digital Products

What are digital products?
Digital products are files that buyers download after purchase. Common examples include PDF templates, design assets, e-books, music files, presets, software, and online courses. There is no shipping involved because delivery is instant and automated.
Setting up a digital product
When creating your product, select Digital as the product type.
- 1Click Add Product and choose Digital as the type.
- 2Fill in the product name, description, and price.
- 3Upload the deliverable file (PDF, ZIP, MP3, etc.).
- 4Add product images for your storefront listing.
- 5Click Save to publish.
Tip: Bundle multiple files into a single ZIP archive for a cleaner delivery experience. Buyers prefer one download over several separate files.
How delivery works
After a buyer completes payment, they are redirected to a success page with a download button. They also receive an email with the download link. Links are secured with a unique token, expire after 72 hours, and allow a maximum of 5 downloads to prevent unauthorized sharing.
Pricing tips for digital products
Since digital products have no cost of goods, they offer high profit margins. Price based on the value you provide, not the file size. Research what similar products sell for in your niche. Consider offering a free product as a lead magnet to capture email addresses and build trust before selling premium products.
